Bumble Bee Jasper is actually a combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, arsenic, etc. The beautiful patterns on this stone often imitate the coloring found on bumblebees and thus the name. The yellow coloring is due to the presence of sulfur, which is toxic, as is arsenic, so care should be taken - always wash your hands after handling (and don't try to eat it). Bumblebee Jasper is found only in Indonesia and is formed on an active volcano. Now you can enjoy this beautiful stone without having to brave a magma flow.
